With an array of high-end features, reliability, and a solid reputation, the Toyota Land Cruiser is a favorite in the SUV market. But how does the Land Cruiser compare against the Chevrolet Suburban and Ford Expedition? Let’s find out…

While the Chevy Suburban and Ford Expedition output slightly more than 300 horsepower with a 5.3L and 5.4L V8 respectively, the Land Cruiser has a far more competent 381 Hp 5.7L V8. (Note: the Chevy Suburban has an optional 366 Hp 6L V8.)

All three competitors are equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission, yielding average fuel economy – 12-14 mpg for city and 18 mpg for highway.
